"The standard version of this record plays at 33.33 r.p.m., however the pre-
release DJ version plays at 45 r.p.m. and features a spoken introduction by
John Foxx. The original picture sleeve bears the Helga Press logo on the back
of the sleeve, whereas the re-issue does not. This single was reissued in
July 1981 - the same catalogue number and artwork were used." Thanks to
Cerise Reed for this information.

which ends in an abrupt cut off, almost as if the tape was suddenly stopped."

Colin Lane told me that the shortened album version of Hiroshima Mon Amour has the part 0.07 - 0.32 edited out and also a slightly shorter fade-out (approximately 6 seconds).
Chris Eckersley gave me this info on the cassette: "This was one of Island's experimental '1+1' cassette series
that had all the tracks on one side, the other side was blank so you could record your own music on it.
It came in a black cardboard box similar to a cigarette packet."
