  11. Defence 3.58 [bonus track; unreleased track recorded 1982 at Silence Studios for MUSIC FOR GIRLS - NOT the 1981 home demo] (digital album 20 March 2020: Silence Records)
Recorded at Silence Studios in Koppom, Värmland, Sweden by Karl Gasleben, Göran Andersson and Dan Söderqvist, in co-operation with Anders Lind. With special appearance by Jimmy Cyklon (A1, A2, B2 & B4), Lars Falk (B1) and RegnMakarn (A2, B2 & B3). It says "P-8010" in the cassette inserts, but release date was 10 Oct 1981 according to https://soundcloud.com/cosmicoverdose.

The four new tracks (Romantic, Striptease, Mainline & Care) were all recorded in 1981 in English only. Striptease was used in, or even recorded for, an animated 1982 short film by the same name by Marie-Louise Ekman. Mainline was composed alreday around 1978-79 but was not properly recorded until 1981. Dan considers "Care" as the first song for what would become MUSIC FOR GIRLS, as Lars Falk was involved in it. Another track "Defence" was also recorded around this time as a home demo by Dan (it was re-recorded in 1982 for MUSIC FOR GIRLS but never used or released at the time).

Background story from "4668" press release: "Cosmic Overdose is one of the bands that have drawn more attention abroad than here in Sweden. The record company Green World in Los Angeles contacted us after we released our first LP Dada Koko and wanted to release it with English vocals. We wanted to wait however, but now we have finished mixing five songs in English which will be released on a 10" in USA in the summer."

Background story from Swedish music magazine Schlager # 12, 13 March 1981: "Cosmic Overdose [...] recently finished mixing a 10" for the American/English market. Five songs - two from the previous LP, two from the current LP and one previously recorded but unreleased - all in English, will be released by the Silence label in USA in collaboration with the small US company Greenworld [located in Los Angeles].

Background story from http://shop.klicktrack.com/433819: "The interest from abroad was constantly growing. A US label wanted to release a 'Best Of' if English versions could be done. And so it was, the best songs were translated and remixed. The deal never came through, however, and the material was instead released on a MC called 'Final Koko'."
