Dec 1975 7" Donna Summer: Love To Love You Baby

Love To Love You Baby 3.30/(Instrumental) 3.20
Clive Hocker informed: "The original 1974 7" recording of "Love To Love You" (ie, the version which was initially a hit in Europe) features some different vocals and a slightly different mix [compared to the 1975 LP version]. Fortunately, this version is widely available on most recent Donna Summer compilations (eg, "The Journey", 2003)". The 1975 7" Casablanca single version is an imaginative edit of the full 17 minute album recording and can be heard on Donna Summer's 1979 "On The Radio" greatest hits and, more recently, on Universal's "Donna Summer Gold" compilation."

1976 UK 7" Chris Bennett: Disco Man

    Disco Man 3.25 / This Perfect Day 3.07 (Bradley's Records, BLAK 1001)
Both songs written and produced by Moroder/Bellotte for Say Yes Music. The A-side is a simple disco song, the B-side is calmer. Thanks to Dan Magnusson for the information.

1976 German 7" Su Kramer: Hier ist das Leben

Hier ist das Leben 4.03 / Lass mich heute nicht allein 3.33 (Telefunken 6.11824)
A-side written by Heider/Heilburg, B-side by Moroder/Bellotte/dt.T.: Heilburg. Eine Joachim Heider Produktion. Thanks to Dan Magnusson for the information.

1976 German 7" MLS (Musicland Set): Take Five

    Take Five 3.20 (Desmond) / Entreprise 3.40 (Moroder/Bellotte) (Oasis 16 683 AT)
Produced by Giorgio Moroder. Thanks to Soren Jensen for info on this single. He told me: "Both titles are electronic instrumentals - as Giorgio's Einzelgänger project [1975], this is not very commercial."

1976 German/Italian 7" Speed Limit: Bump the Twist

    Bump the Twist 4.10 / The Disco-Twist 4.21 (German 7": Oasis 16 892 AT)
A Say Yes Music-Production By Giorgio Moroder. Written by Moroder/Bellotte. Thanks to Dan Magnusson for the information, who told me that the B-side is basically the same as the A-side but with slightly different lyrics.

April? 1976 LP (+ CD) ROBERTA KELLY: TROUBLE MAKER

  1. Trouble-Maker 8.48
  2. Love Power 5.06

  3. Think I'm Gonna Break Someone's Heart Tonight 6.20
  4. Innocent 6.40

Written by Giorgio Moroder & Pete Bellotte, except Love Power. Produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte at MusicLand Studios, Munich. Mastering date etched on the run-out groove of the Italian LP is 2-9-1976, so I assume it was released in Sep, at least in Italy. The German LP has a different cover and adds "The" to the album title. Apparently the Goldlegion 2010 CD has a mastering error.

1976 7" Roberta Kelly: Trouble Maker

    Trouble-Maker [single edit] 3.59 / The Family [single edit] 3.15 (German 7": Atlantic ATL 10 722; US 7": Oasis OC 407)
Mastering date etched on the run-out groove of the Italian vinyl is 29-10-76, so I assume it was released in Nov, at least in Italy.

1976 German/US 7" Roberta Kelly: Love Power

Love Power [German single version] 3.08 / Drifter 2.45 (German 7": Atlantic ATL 10 661)

Love Power [US single version] 3.30 / Trouble Maker 3.59 (US 7": Oasis OC 409)

The German B-side Drifter is unique to this single and was produced by Pete Bellotte.

late? 1976 US/Italian 7"/12" Dino Solera and the Munich Machine: Classically Elise

Classically Elise (part one) 3.33 / (part two) 2.51

Classically Elise (part one) 6.20/(part two) 5.34

Written by Moroder/Bellotte, produced by Giorgio Moroder for Say Yes Productions. It was re-recorded in March 1977 for inclusion on an LP. Dino Solera worked on many Moroder productions as saxophonist.

1976/77 German/Italian 7" Smiley introducing Karen Taylor: Doctor Funk

Doctor Funk 3.59 / Funk You Very Much 4.37 (German 7": Oasis 17 436 AT)
Both tracks written by Moroder/Bellotte, produced by Giorgio Moroder. Robert Demetz told me that 'Smiley' is a group of five boys and Karen Taylor, that the arrangements and instruments are similar to 'Love To Love You Baby' by Donna Summer, especially the strings, and that side two of the single is almost the same as part one even if the title is different.
