'The Future' line-up consisted of Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware, with Adi Newton and later Phil Oakey on lyrics/vocals, and lasted from June to Dec 1977.
Only one track from these sessions was released before 2002 ('Dancevision', recorded Nov 1977, released on Holiday 80 EP in April 1980).

A third song 'Toyota City' was recorded with this line-up too, but it was not released at the time;
it may be the version released on the 1979 limited edition cassette 'The Dignity of Labour' and/or the
5.38 version that was released on a free 7" that came with the reissue 7"/12" 'Empire State Human'
(Virgin VS 351/351-12 in May 1980). In any case 'Toyota City' was re-recorded for the second Human League LP TRAVELOGUE in 1980,
produced by The Human League & Richard Manwaring.
