Info from Martin Wedge: 'The song 'Caribbean Air Control' from 1978 which feature T Horn is by BIG A. I know this because I have the record, with Trevor on the cover in a flying suit and goggles, and the band on the back. It was a UK release on Sonet Records.'

Geoff Downes: "Chromium was a project between myself and Trevor Horn. We did an album, basically a year before we did the Buggles' stuff. Trevor had done this album called 'Carribean Air Control'. The guy who ran the Hit Factory in America got a copy of this record and really enjoyed it. He offered me and Trevor to make an album of disco music. It was pre-Buggles, but a bit more mainstream. We did the album in New York, and I think it came out on Hit Factory's own label. I never even got a copy of it myself (laughs)." (from the official Asia site).

Dec 1979 LP (+CD) BRUCE WOOLLEY AND THE CAMERA CLUB: ENGLISH GARDEN

Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes didn't actually play on this LP, they only co-wrote these songs. I mention this LP because Buggles has its roots here. Dave Crane told me: "UK and US editions have different covers, and I believe may have different mixes of certain tracks - "VKTRS" appears to be available in 3 different mixes on the various formats (The "English Garden" album was issued in August 2000 on the Epic label in the UK, but used the US mix of "VKTRS")."
