I plan to use this blog/platform to give tips on media mainly. My interests range from the most spiritual to combat fighting,
and also humour. I only recommend media that I myself own or plan to buy. Don't forget to check out my "interesting courses" page.
And a tip when purchasing from Amazon: check the "used" price!

I want to recommend this youtube link to a 90 min video conference by author Graham Hancock,
about ancient maps of the earth showing south pole long before it was "discovered" in 1818, what the pyramids really were, etc etc.
There are numerous books on this, and this video is a good introcuction.

I always liked the old Mission Impossible TV films from the 1960s, they way an expert team used their brains and technology, not muscles and guns,
to fight "impossible" enemies of the state or planet (and I would NOT recommend the remakes with Tom Cruise!).
If you are into agent stories like these, I strongly recommend the relatively new TV series BURN NOTICE, which runs its fourth season now.
I will not go into detailes here, only point out why I like this series so much: the methods Mike Western (played by Jeffrey Donovan)
use are obviously taken from real Special Ops training and you get an interesting insight into what's it's really like to be an agent
on truly lethal missions, including kidnapping, hostage, breaking into "impossible" buildings, etc etc.
The way he reasons is explained by a narrative "instructions for agents" so you also learn quite a bit!
The situations are often realistically deadly, but it's portrayed with some humour and great actors.
I truly love this series.

I forgot, those of you who like Donald, there is also a DVD series with his short films called "Walt Disney Treasures - The Chronological Donald".
Volume One covers 1934-1941, Volume Two 1942-1946, Volume Three 1947-1950. These are the complete collection of all the original short films.

For this, my first blog posting, I have simply been waiting for something to come up that is interesting enough for me to want to share.
Today I want to recommend a new series of Donald Duck books that I have been waiting for -
Carl Barks' original comic stories! Carl is the man behind the "classic" Donald Duck (1942-1966).
There have been comic book series before but they are long out of print. This new series will cover his complete output,
with lots of work put into the quality of the colouring etc. It's about 240 pages and I think the price is very reasonable. It's already got very good reviews.
